Rocky Mountain #2 IOOF Cemetery, Central City, CO
12/24/2002

Found Online
Every April 5th and November 1st a beautiful women in a black satin dress appears and lays flowers on the grave of John Edward Cameron. There are many different rumors for the connection between this ghost and Cameron, who died on November 1, 1887. Once twelve people gathered together at Cameron's grave on Nov. 1st one year, to see the ghost. At sunset, she appeared as always. Two men tried to grab her but she flew off and vanished over the hill.

Our Investigation
We were there from 2:52pm - 3pm on Nov 24, 2002. The outside temp upon arrival was 22°F (-5.5°C) and snowing. Driving aimlessly from Central City and being adventurous, we found the cemetery completely by accident. It was an absolutely wonderful surprise; there was only one problem. The front gate was locked and there was also a "No Trespassing" sign on the fence. After being there for about 2 minutes, sitting in the car and taking the pictures I could, the police drove by slowly on the main road, but didn’t stop. We stayed for a while longer (still sitting in the car with the heat blasting) taking more pictures. I really wish the gates had been open and we were allowed in. On a better note, there was a very nice investigation of this cemetery done by ParaFPI. There is a link to it below.
