Our Investigation
On 12/28/2002, Christine wanted to go out to a tree she'd seen once before out by Horsetooth, just past Masonville. The temp at 3:10pm was 63°F (17.2°C). I don't know how many times this tree has been hit. At least once, possibly more. Around the tree are several stones, some plastic flowers and a wooden cross. Written on the cross is, "M.C. WE LOVE YOU". Hanging from the tree was what looked to be an angel made of twine and a medal from 2001, for bicycling. There are quite a few pieces of plastic embeded in the tree as well. Where the tree was struck, at a certain angle you can see something resembling a face. There is most definatly an energy at the tree. Also a sense of loss and sadness. We left at 3:20pm
