History:
The Virginia Dale Community Church Cemetery is managed by the Trustees of the
Virginia Dale Community Church and Cemetery. As of October 2000, the cemetery
was still active. However, to qualify for burial there, one had to either be living in the
Virginia Dale area at one's death or have lived there earlier in one's life.
Note that the original church records were destroyed in 1962 when the home of the individual
maintaining those records was burned down.
The cemetery at the Virginia Dale Community Church is immediately north of the
church. The church is on the west side of U.S. Highway 287 about 2 miles south of the old town
of Virginia Dale. GPS coordinates of this cemetery are 40 degrees 56' 23" N, 105 degrees 20' 37" W.
